In India, PSPL established its first processing facility in 1990 for Monsanto. Between 1999-2012, PSPL established many processing facilities for Global MNCs such as Bayer Crop Science, Syngenta, Monsanto, Advanta, Corteva, Seed Works, DOW, Bioseed, Hi-Tech and many other companies and works on rice and corn.

In India, PSPL has made investment of more than $100 million over last 34 years. Today, PSPL is India's largest outsourced partner in the seed processing domain, delivering end-to-end turnkey solutions to global seed companies with more than 50% market share.

Facility

  • At Hyderabad, India, PSPL processing facilities are spread over 1 million SQFT of production area and caters to the processing need of 750,000 tons of seed annually.

Prasad Seeds Private Limited (PSPL), Philippines

After 30 years of market dominance in India, PSPL chose Philippines as a strategic investment destination outside India. Made its first investment of $6 Million in 2014 for Syngenta, Philippines and over last 10 years, have cumulatively invested $20 Million for supporting drying, processing and seed to seed business to global MNCs such as Syngenta, Monsanto, Advanta and Bioseed on Corn, Peanut.PSPL investment in the Philippines is one of the largest investments in Seed sector by any private company in this decade and the facility is catering to 50% of the total Corn seed requirement in the country. PSPL has emerged as one of the fastest growing companies in the Agribusiness services domain in the Philippines and continues with greater growth promise in the years to come

Prasad Seeds Private Limited (PSPL), Indonesia

Indonesia has been our second investment destination outside India, and we incorporated the company PT Prasad Seeds Indonesia in August 2017 at Pasuruan. PSPL have invested to the tune of $30 m to date and plans to invest another $10-15 m in the next 2-3 years. Prasad Seeds acquired one of the largest seed drying and processing facility in Malang, Indonesia in 2022 and currently holds the highest capacity in the country in terms of drying, processing and storage and support global MNCs such as Syngenta, Bayer, Advanta, Bioseed on Corn. PSPL is one of the largest investors in Indonesia in the last 5 years and currently handles 50% of the total Corn Seed requirement through its facilities. We are exploring further opportunities to expand facilities and grow business further in Agribusiness.

  • Pasuruan: 1400 MT Wet Ear Drying capacity per cycle; 50,000 SFT of ambient warehouse; 20 TPH processing capacity (dedicated for Advanta)

Prasad Seeds Private Limited (PSPL), Vietnam

Prasad Seeds made entry in Vietnam in 2021 through critical business acquisitions and made significant investment to the tune of $10 m in short span in Tay Ninh province, which is suitable for seed production. Prasad Seeds is one of the pioneering companies in Vietnam in the area of seed production, and processing infrastructure and within a short time, made good contribution towards reducing seeds import into the country. PSPL is currently providing services in the area of seed, drying and processing for companies such as Syngenta, Bioseed, CP, and Advanta and the facility can cater to 40% of the country corn seeds requirement.

Facility

  • PSPL current facility in Vietnam is located in Tay Ninh province and is spread in 5 acres area and have drying capacity of 1100 MT wet ear and 10 TPH processing capacity for corn.

Prasad Seeds Private Limited (PSPL), Bangladesh

Prasad Seeds started its Bangladesh journey in 2022 by creating one of the world class Paddy seed processing and cold storage infrastructure and plans to expand further into the area of seed production and other associated services in corn and paddy. In Bangladesh, PSPL have made investment to the tune of $3 m and looking to expand its investment further in the years to come.
