1982 | Proprietary Firm
Prasad Seeds ventured into jute seed production, rapidly becoming a dominant player in India and Bangladesh.
1986 | Partnership Firm
: Accelerated market penetration and captured substantial share in India and Bangladesh.
1994 | Private Limited Company
: Transitioned to a private limited company, expanding into seed production and marketing.
1999 | MNC Collaboration
Partnered with Monsanto to establish the first seed drying unit.
2000-2013 | Strategic Partnership with Global Leaders
Developed 28 seed processing and drying units across India.
2014-2015 | Philippines Expansion
PSPL made its first investment of $6 Million in 2014 for Syngenta, Philippines. Cumulatively invested $20 Million over last 10 years for supporting drying, processing and seed to seed business to global MNCs such as Syngenta, Monsanto, Advanta and Bioseed on Corn, Peanut.
2017 | Indonesia Expansion
Indonesia has been our second investment destination outside India, and Prasad Seeds incorporated the company PT Prasad Seeds Indonesia in August 2017 at Pasuruan.
2018 | Africa /Zambia Expansion

Joint Venture with Remington Seeds, one of the largest third party seed producers in the world and registered as Prasad Remigton Seeds.
2021 | Vietnam Expansion & Bioseed Acquisition
- Prasad Seeds made entry in Vietnam in 2021 through critical business acquisitions and made significant investment to the tune of $10 Million in short span in Tay Ninh province.
2022 | Bangladesh Expansion
Prasad Seeds started its Bangladesh journey in 2022 by creating one of the world class Paddy seed processing and cold storage infrastructure.
2023 | Malang Facility Acquisition
Prasad Seeds acquired one of the largest seed drying and processing facility in Malang, Indonesia in 2022 and currently holds the highest capacity in the country in terms of drying, processing and storage and support global MNCs.
2024 | Centre of Excellence in India
Prasad Seeds is developing a Centre of Excellence to train farmers on sustainable agriculture practices- mechanization, digital solutions, carbon credits and climate resilience.
